Tend to your Spiritual Life

Dear church family,

The month of May invites us to slow down and

notice the beauty of growth all around us. Seeds

planted in past seasons are now beginning to

flourish. This is a gentle reminder that God is always

at work—often in quiet, unseen ways—nurturing

our lives and deepening our faith.

Colossians 2:6-7 encourages us, “So then, just as

you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live

your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him,

strengthened in the faith.” Like a tree planted by

living water, our strength comes from staying

connected to Christ. When we remain rooted in His

love, we are able to grow, endure, and bear fruit.

As we journey through this month, I encourage you

to tend to your spiritual life intentionally. Make

space for prayer, immerse yourself in God’s Word,

and seek opportunities to serve others with

compassion. Growth doesn’t happen overnight, but

with faithful care, God brings transformation.

May this be a month where we grow deeper in

faith, stronger in love, and more committed to the

calling God has placed before us.

With blessings,

Rev. Pilar Perez
