God Is Faithful in Every Season
Dear Commonwealth Family,
October has a way of reminding us that change is part of life. The days grow shorter, the air becomes cooler, and the leaves begin to turn from green to beautiful shades of red, orange, and gold. Creation itself seems to whisper that season’s change—but through every season, God remains faithful. Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us, “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.” There are seasons of joy and seasons of uncertainty, seasons of growth and seasons of letting go. There are moments when we clearly see the road ahead and others when we must simply trust God for the next step. As a church, we also experience changing seasons.
We remember with gratitude those who have gone before us, the ministries that have shaped us, and the many ways God has used Commonwealth United Methodist Church through the years. At the same time, God continues to invite us to look forward with faith. May we enter this new season with grateful hearts, open hands, and hopeful spirits. The leaves may change, circumstances may change, and our plans may change—but the love and faithfulness of God remain steadfast. Whatever this season holds, we
do not walk through it alone. God is with us, and God is still at work. May we continue trusting, serving, loving, and walking together in faith.
Grace and peace,
Rev. Pilar Pérez
