A Season of Gratitude and Hope
Dear Commonwealth UMC Family,
As we enter the month of November, we are reminded that every season of life offers us an opportunity to pause, reflect, and give thanks to God. Even when life brings challenges, uncertainties, and changes, God's faithfulness remains constant.
The words of Psalm 107:1 remind us: “O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever.” As a church family, we have experienced moments of joy as well as challenges. Yet, through it all, God continues to walk beside us. November invites us to remember that gratitude is not simply about celebrating our blessings but also about trusting God's presence in difficult times.
As we prepare for Thanksgiving and look toward the season of Advent, may we continue to pray for one another, care for our neighbors, and remain united in faith and love. Our strength as a congregation is not measured by numbers or resources, but by our willingness to love, serve, and trust God together.
May our hearts be filled with gratitude, our spirits renewed with hope, and our lives reflect the love of Jesus Christ.
With love and blessings,
Rev. Pilar Pérez
