Raised in a Christian home with musical parents, my Dad a song leader, my Mom a church pianist, it was naturally easy for me to follow in their footprints. Needless to say our home was filled with music mainly Southern Gospel and hymns.

At a very early age, I knew God has something special for me in ministry. My music career began at age 14 as an organist at Oak Grove UMC. I joined Commonwealth UMC in September 2004.

I have been teaching piano for over 60 years. I have taught hundreds of students, who are all a part of my extended family. I am a member of the Charlotte Piano Teachers Forum.

My JOY is my family coming home. Gardening is my favorite past time and never turn down a visit to the beach.

Commonwealth has been a true blessing; working with the most dedicated volunteer choir members who are so faithful.

My objective is to continue the music ministry God called me to do during my youth as long as God can use me. I have been blessed. I AM blessed. I am thankful for the gifts God has given me.
